Hunting within Mequon’s city limits is allowed on selected properties and under certain circumstances. Please review the Mequon Code of Ordinances:Chapter 46, Section 46-105 through 115 to understand the specifics.
The hunting season is April 1 through March 31. A permit application form is available at the Mequon Police Department. The completed form must be personally presented to the police department along with a $10.00 nonrefundable fee for processing the permit. A map identifying what areas have currently been approved for hunting and identifying what type of weapon is being used can be found here or on the city’s web page under "Weapons Discharge/Hunting Map"
